I am looking for some pre-cut cardboard shims used while putting up drywall. I saw them in Fine Homebuilding, but can not find the vendor. Local stores do not carry them (or even know what I am talking about). Has anyone used these and does anyone know here I can find them.

Hello
Yes and they work great but you will have to have your whole
sale sheetrock supplyer order them for you .....you can make them out of thin solid cardboard 1 1/2" wide and as long as what you have to make them out of....it is not much thicker than a cracker box so you can go from almost nothing to 3/16" with a few peices.....Good Luck...
many custom home builders use them...
