Hi: I have a GE Convection Microwave Model# JET342H-001 that is not working. For a couple weeks it was acting up-working off and on. The power is on, the light comes on when open, I can set the timer, start it, and the clock counts down as if it is working etc. But it doesn't cook. There is no normal microwave noise etc. What is wrong with it? Thanks So Much UmNizar

Howdy,
With the timer counting down but no noises at all...a few common possible trouble makers:
- door switch(s)
- door switch latch/lever
- some have relays ( some are soldered directly on the smart board and some are seperate units ) that may not be closing.
#1 trouble maker is often related with the door switch(s)
TIP: Microwave can/will shock/kill you...even unplugged!! There is a high voltage capacitor that will store an electrical charge...even unplugged!!
