Several of the windows in my 12 year old home are fogged. I talked to someone at Loew's and was told that it is fairly simple to replace the glass. I see that the glass is held in place with vinyl strips. What all is involved in getting the glass out and replaced? What about where to go to get the glass.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

A glass shop will be the place to purchase the new units. Call a few for pricing. You will only need to measure daylight which is from inside edge to inside edge for a price quote. Thickness of the unit will not matter in regards to pricing. If the windows are the tilt in type then pull the sash and bring it to the glass shop you choose and they should have a tool to measure the thickness of the unit without having to pull the glass. Pull the strips on one unit to figure out how much to add to daylight and you can then measure the rest.....
