Hello and Welcome Spange to the Do It Yourself Web Site and thanks for posting a question in my Gas Appliance forum.

You posted a question regarding "Installation", since this is a bit out of my line of expertise, to get you in touch with those that can answer your question best, I have moved your topic.

Look for your question and the replies to it in the "Plumbing" forum. Plumbers install gas lines and know all of the best methods, techniques, pipe and tools to use and possibly the codes within your state.
