I'm going to build a non load-bearing wall that will divide one large room into 2 medium sized rooms. I have good studs on each side and the bottom will be anchored to the foundations with concrete anchors. The problem is the top. It has a drop down ceiling and there is not place to anchor to. Any suggestions?

The problem is that the ceiling joists are about 20 feet high. That is the reason a drop down ceiling was put in. What I am thinking about doing is to run some sandwiched 2x 6's across the area and nailing the top plate to that. Any thoughts on that?
