I am in the process of finishing my basement. I have a forced air gas furnace with AC. I plan on dropping vents through the basement ceiling from the ductwork leading to the 1st floor. Should I add a cold air return duct near the basement floor? Are there any pros and cons to doing this?
I welcome any comments or suggestions.
