I just had a gas fireplace put in by the gas company, and now I need to finish the framing around it (They framed in the firplace box and covered it with sheetrock)

I would like to do a faux brick covering, but I have two questions: Where do you find brick facings these days, and can they be mounted to sheetrock? Should the sheetrock be primed or anything?
