Hello hribas

I went back and reread my reply. I neglected to mention checking for continuity. This can be done with a continuity tester or an ohm meter.

This test will tell only if there is an internal electrical connection. Best method is to carefully remove the part and any other part you suspect or I mentioned as the potential culprit, and have the local appliance parts store person run the test.
