My central air unit is a lennox about seven years old.
I dont have the numbers at this time. My problems are as follows:

1. My air conditioning trips my breaker - I cleaned out my condenser with the garden hose. This seemed to take care of it.

2. My upstairs is not cooling - the vents are all open but the air only dribbles out.

3. Over the last few days the house has been getting warmer and warmer - the vents throughout the rest of the house seem to be blowing slightly weaker but cool air still comes out.

air filter, next make sure cooling coil is not iced up.Remove panel to cooling coil and check blower to see if is pulling air.It may have a safety interlock. You may to push it in to run blower with panel off. With power off turn blower wheel to check for drag or tight bearings. If motor has oil ports remove them and oil bearings. It would not hurt to check duct work.Air leaks or a partially disconneted duct will reduce your air flow.PDF

In the post last night I forgot to mention the water and ice on the side of my blower. what I did was shut off the whole system for about an hour. Then I restarted and everything seems to be okay now. Now my main concern is with the lack of power in my second floor vents, how would I check these for leaks or disconects? Thanks for your help.
