Greenhouses, Sheds and Sun Rooms - Sunporch to Sunroom

I would like to convert my 15 X 8 feet sunporch to a sunroom for year-round use. We live in the northeast so insulation is key for winter use. My husband and I have lived in apartments most of our lives and are novices when it comes to home improvements. We would need to take down the existing paneling on the walls and in the ceiling, and insulate them as well as insulate the crawl space underneath the porch. If it's not too expensive, we would like to leave the windows and door to an expert. Is this a project we can handle ourselves and how much should we expect to spend? - Desi in NJ

The insulating you can handle yourself. The door and window installation you probably want to hire done. Collect pictures (ads, magazines, etc.) that show exactly the features you want, then get quotes from several contractors.
