I've read the archives and will try some of the suggestions but still need some advice.
I have a brand new home with separate units for 1st & 2nd floor, plus heatpump for basement. 1st floor air flow is good and is cool. 2nd floor air flow is much less and air is warm. Basement still under construction.
Had AC contractor out to house. Air filter 2nd floor dirty and he replaced it. Freon checked out ok. Said should be ok. Surprise, no change at all.
Getting him back out but want to be better informed so I can not be sold a lot of manure.

in attic? If it is someone will have to go up there and check ALL the return and supply connections. If they ran a/c during construction and plugged filter up,good chance coil may be restricted.PDF
