In order to repair the crown on my chimney, I know
that I must remove the old one and form and pour
a new one. My questions:
1. When I remove the old crown what is left to hold
the new concrete in place?
2. Is there a special concrete that is used for the
replacement of the crown?
3. About how thick is the concrete crown?
4. Any and all advice that you can offer in order to
complete this job in an expedious and eye appealing
manner.
Thanks for any help you can offer, Jerry.
