I'm looking to have a screen door for my front door of my condo. Any ideas?
The condo association specifically says that modifications to the exterior of the condo units is prohibited. This rules out any exterior screen door.
So, I was thinking to go with a retractable screen door.
From what I've seen, there are exterior and interior mounted versions. Exterior is ruled out because of the condo policies. I'm not exactly sure what an interior mounted retractable screen door is, can someone explain?
My door frame doesn't have much of any mounting options for the inside, because the door and the frame are flush with the wall except for the moulding going around the frame, and I don't know where to mount a bottom track because there is about a 1/2" drop lip when you step inside (when they constructed the condos, the inside floor was about 1/2" lower than the exterior walkway).
I own the condo, so I can modify the heck our of the interior, I just can't mess with the outside.
Your ideas and suggestions would be appreciated.
