Hello all!

My Objective:- To REMOVE OLD WALLPAPER and then PAINT WALLS in spare bedroom.

Achieved so far:- Used enzyme soln. for removal of wall-paper; succeeded. Tried to remove hardened adhesive from wall and started dissolving with more enzyme soln. and wet sponges, this resulted in the paper layer of the drywall coming off and I can see BROWN PATCHES OF CARDBOARD NOW!!

Question:- Can I just go ahead with my plan to apply primer paint or should I be covering the patches with some type of paper -- any special type of paper?

PLEASE HELP!!

Thanks in Advance
