I am in the process of building a new home. I am using a larger builder in the Detroit area. Their brick supplier made a mistake when supplying the brick, and supplied two differnet lots. The net result, is that I have a uneven racing stripe down two sides of my home. The builders solution and that of the brick supplier is to stain the brick.
In talking with other builders and individuals familiar with brick, this practice is questionsable, and not proven. Does anyone have any information or other opinions on this process? I am currently looking at getting these walls taken down and re-bricked.
