I'm trying to determine the best and easiest way to remove wallpaper, some of which is coming off on its own, but some of it seems to be adhering for an eternity. I've not tried anything yet, just been hoping that that's adhering good would start to come loose. But, so far, no luck on waiting it out. Also, thinking of removing textured ceiling material and wondering if same method as used on wallpaper will work on ceiling. House was built in 1971. Thanks for any advice you might give.

hi zeringue, for the wallpaper removal you can buy a steamer or rent one.You just fill the unit with water and plug it in,and when it starts to steam you hold the plate to the wall and hold it there for a few seconds and the steam melts the glue on back of the paper, and you scrape the paper off.Its alot of work.
