I need to replace the oven (not broiler) ignitor on my GE Model JGP32GES2WH stove. Ignitor is fastened to the burner assembly and it's not obvious how to get to the ignitor screws to remove it (they're on the bottom) or how to remove the entire burner. Is there a trick to this?

Hello Van56 and Welcome to the Do It Yourself Web Site and my Gas Appliance forum.
The glow coil attaches to the burner. The bracket will have mounting screws. It isn't usually necessary to remove the entire burner assembly.
Depending on how flexible {nimble} your hand is, you can use a small screwwdriver to remove the screws or remove the entire oven panel. Take out the racks, Remove the rack holders and left out the ovens lower panel.
Some ovens require removal of other panels inside the oven compartment but there isn't always a need to remove much more.
If you have to remove the burner, it's fastened somehow in the front and most always has a slotted support in the rear prior to the upper curve.
