There are a number of rust-removal products, such as naval jelly, etc. Just look around a hardware store.
Have you tried soaking them in WD-40, and cleaning the rust off with steel wool?
Good Luck!

I obtained an old (1961) Wilton vice from my estate sale runs. It was in the "to be discarded" pile and the owner willingly gave it to me because it was stuck.

I put it in a Safe-T-Clean vat at work, took it apart and soaked it for a few days. Cleaned and dried it up, and then packed the chamber with white grease. Put it all back together, and walah, one working Mini-Wilton.

Even the folks at Wilton couldn't believe I got it in shape so easily. Works like new.
