We have two slider windows in our house that I am having a hard time cleaning. On the outside, the windows have two full size screens which I can't seem to remove. They had a few remaining plastic tabs to help pull them out but when I tried using them, they broke right off. These are not old windows, so I don't want to try and force the screens off and risk damaging them. Is there a simple way for me to get these screens out?

Those plastic tabs are NOT there for removing the screens, only to assist in installing them. To remove the screens, push the side of the frame opposite of where the tabs are (or were) into the window frame. The edge where the tabs are (or were) should come out of the window frame so you can remove it. To reinstall the screens, press the edge opposite of teh tabs into window frame and use the tabs only to align that edge in the window frame.

Thank you for your quick response. No wonder the tabs broke off. Now I can finally clean my windows inside & out!
