We recently had a brick walk installed. The installer didn't get all the excess mortar off and the bricks look very messy. We tried Muratic acid but it helped very little. Any suggestions?

how did you use the acid? Straight, deluted 12:1, 10:1 or ???? Did you brush it on then "scrub" it???
