I am in the process of redecorating my kitchen. I am looking for ideas on how to accomplish a french country kitchen. So far I am going to stencil a fleur-de-lis boarder on the wall, paint the enset of the cabinets and also apply the fluer-de-lis stencil. Do you have any other ideas.

You could try adding a window etching with food names written in French. This can look very effective especially if you kitchen window has a poor outlook.
You would need to create the stencils with card or acetate but it would be unique.
Try using chequered green/blue tablecloth, chair cushions and blinds to finish the effect.
Don't forget to add the string of garlic to the wall! :-)
