Killing Weeds In Flower Beds and Vegetable Gardens.

Keeping weeds out of flower beds and vegetable gardens is a never ending problem. Several methods can be used. Applying a plastic ground covering with holes for the plants, spraying with some type of toxic liquid weed killer chemicals, decorative bark or rocks, handing cultivating and removal etc.
I prefer HOT WATER. Hot water applied directly to the weed will kill it without using toxic chemicals. Hot water is safe for useage in and around flower beds accessible to kids and pets. It can be used to kill weeds along fences, walls, walkways and anywhere weeds are a problem.
Whenever weed killing is used outside of gardens and flower beds, adding common household salt to the hot water will greatly improve the final results.
Best method is to pour or spray the foliage directly and saturate the surrounding soil. Avoid overspraying onto nearby plants, flowers and vegetables.
Good Luck and pleasant gardening...:D
