I am in the process of converting my house to natural gas. I have an older range. The brand is Premeir. I am currently using LP gas. how should I proceed? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Hello and Welcome Amelouita to the Do It Yourself Web Site and thanks for posting a question in my Gas Appliance forum.

The best proceedure is to contact the natural gas company that is installing the meter set assembly and have them do all the conversions on all the appliances for you.

Most companies should be thrilled to have another customer and often do the conversions free or at least at a low cost. All existing appliances within the home will have to be converted also.

Otherwise, you'll have to buy a natural gas appliance regulator and orifices for the stove and oven at the local appliance retail parts store.

Your dryer and water heater if applies, will need parts also but not appliance regulators. Those are often convertable. Inquire at the store and take make, models and serial numbers for all.

Basic instructions should also be obtained there and some helpful information can be found within the archives of this forum.
