Does anybody out there have plans for building a garden bench. Something not too complicated would be preferred.
My e-mail is icespecialist@yahoo.ca

Thanks

Hi OCeanGhost,

What kind of bench are you looking for--one with a back?

I made something similar in this site without any plans and used 2 x 6 lumber. I put a shelf with sides under it to set plants or store garden tools. I painted it white, but I'm letting it weather.

Something with a back is preferred. I was thinking of something along the lines of a park bench.
The bench shown in the link was nice. Might try that for my patio.

Thanks

Hi Ocean Ghost,

Here are some places you can check. Search for "garden bench". I pulled up some nice ones. Some you have to pay for the plans.

Search for other magazines also. Southern Living, etc. Anything that has garden articles in it may pull up a bench. If you use a search engine for garden bench, you'll find some too, but you have to scan through to find the ones with free plans. There's plenty of instructions out there without paying for them.
