Need some info. Stand alone, or added to another building?
What size? What type of glazing? (glass, plastic panels, or sheet vinyl plastic? Fan will depend on the size of the greenhouse, so will the heater. I would suggest that you check with your library for some research as to what you might need to meet your needs. I use mine from several weeks before Easter up until around the end of May or early June, depending on the weather. It is 14'wide x 32' long, and around 7' or so tall in the center. The bows are galvanized steel and have a sheet of UV green house plastic covering them. I only use a single sheet. My floor is dirt with a covering of straw. When I do mine over this year it will be a lot different, live and learn. I use a 55,000 btu Ready heater with a thermostat to heat it, and a regular box fan to cool it. It works but it's not exactly what I really want. Send me some info and I'll look through my stuff and give you what info I have on hand.

HiTrent I was going to go 20 feet wide and 36 feet long and 8 foot walls so it will need to have a pitch to the roof as I live in Edmonton Alberta Canada and we get snow.My heater is a overhead unit 54000 out put.I was going to us single pain glass in metal casing they are used from a reno job I got for free, as for the roof I'm not sure I would like to use the stongest material as I can, Be it metal or what every I can get for free as I collect this up and then will build it when I have all the cheepest suff I can get my hands on. The floor will be cement side walk blocks and the beds will be raised as I have a bad back and can't bend over that much, I will us bread trays for my pot and seedling trays to sit on for starters and then plant directly in the raised beds, The others will be planted out side.I hope this gives you a better idea of what my plans are and If you can use any of my ideas great I will talk to you later. Thanks Craig

Hi Craig, Sounds as though you are doing the same thing I am,.......recycling. My green house came from a local nursery that had some damaged houses. We tore the old ones and split the bows up among us. All we needed to do was to rebuild them and cover them. Here is an outfit that I have been dealing with. WALDOS & ASSOCIATES, INC. Their phone number is 1-800-468-4011, fax number is 1-419-666-2079
Their e-mail is waldos_001@aol.com Ask them to send you a catalog. You might want to try using a combo of the glass
for the sides and plastic for a roof. When I do mine over this fall I will grade the floor to be level, put down a ground cloth with a layer of sand and topped with some crushed stone. I will make the side walls about 3-4 feet tall so the benches will sit closer to the walls and give me more room in the center. Instesd of pulling the plastic over the end I am going to put up a 2x4 wall and frame it to accept a fan and for the other end I will do the same only with 2 doors so that I can get things in and out more easily and will give me more venting when needed. I am also going to put in some of the temperature activated vents that work mechanically. I will also put in a small electrical panel for lights , fan and heat. I might go with an oil fired furnace if I can find one. Also I keep a
couple of kerosene heaters ready, just for a back up. Please keep in touch.
