I have a window i would like to take out and put in double doors. i don't know how i would do even begin to do it, and what i would need. my window is 51 inces wide and 53 inches in height. help?!

Double doors (french doors) are most commonly 72" wide and 80" tall. Since your window is 51" wide, it would require that the opening be widened, which means you would have to have it properly framed, with a header, king studs, trimmer studs, etc. Since you don't know where to begin to do that, call a couple of contractors and get estimates to have them do it for you.
