Have new appliances for new house in Michigan with lp gas. Need to convert appliances to lp but company i bought them from doesn't do this. Gas company I used for tank also doesn't do it. Hind sight is 20-20 . Should've asked first !
Who can I get to do this for me? Plumber or HVAC maybe ?
Does it require someone licensed or certified to do it ?

Thanx in advance for any input !

Hello zalyx1 and Welcome to the Do It Yourself Web Site and my Gas Appliance forum.

You can do them yourself if your handy and have the time. In the last few days there have been several other postings on the topic of converting appliances.

It would be very much worth your time reading them. Those postings have all the needed infomation to decide whether you want to do the projects, where to get the conversion kits and the basics for installing the conversion parts.

If you elect to have a company do the conversions, contact the appliance dealers in your area and you might want to ask the appliance parts store person whom is the best appliance service company to call.
