Hi jollygreengiant!

I'll bite! No, I haven't. Do you have a question about that particular clematis???

AND why are you out of your mind??? I see you only have 3 posts; you just recently found DIY???

Well, I was just asking because a lady up the road has one. At least that was she says it is! mauve/purple sort of colour. I have asked a lot of garden centres around here but nobody has heard of it!. I am starting to think she has the name wrong OR maybe its not a clematis. I am still fairly new to gardening, you always learn something everyday don't you? Yes I only recently found DIY, great site and SO many forums for different things.
I did however buy a clematis called THE PRESIDENT. Have you heard of that variety?
Oh, out of my mind? - 4 kids!!!!
take care ;-)

Hi Jollygreengiant,

Dr. Ruppell and The President are in this site with photographs of the flowers.

Ayep, we have 4 grandkids that visit frequently for days at a time. Ages 12-4. I know what you mean! :)

This is a nice site and there are forums for just about everything. Some day I'll browse around and do some reading.
