Does anybody know how to stop cats doing their bit on your garden? It is getting a real problem, I have thought of putting stones around the plants as long as they are not too small, otherwise it they'll think its litter.

Try using chicken wire just under a thin layer of dirt. It worked in our garden and we have 3 cats. They now go to the neighbors. :)

I've tried most things, ultra sonic devices, parafin wax ties, citrus scented water on liquid, even a friends dog but that just went to sleep. The most successful thing to date is pelleted lion dung. Apparently, even though cats like lions are members of the same family lions produce a scent in their dung that cats find offensive and so far I've had a cat free garden since using the stuff. It's odourless to humans and comes in small pellet form so doesn't look out of place, never seen full size lion dung but I bet it's four times the size of a cats...anyway I buy it mail order from a UK supplier but if I can find their web address I'll post it!

Hi Jolly Green Giant,
This site has some good suggestions from its members on several animals and insects -
