I have been in my house for approximately four years. The house itself is 13 years old. My heat pump is a General Electric Weathertron. This summer I am having the hardest time cooling my house. Last night it was cooler outside than inside. The fan on the heat pump is moving I replaced the air filter and I can feel air coming out of my vents. It's just the house is so hot that everyone is actually sweating. Can you tell me what could be possibly wrong.

I'm not sure what the difference is, but I do know that just the heat pump is outside and the rest of the system is in basement. That's where I change the air filter. And that supplies both my heating and cooling.
