I have an older Carrier model central air unit. It is about 22 years old. My duct work is in my ceiling. The unit has began leaking around from the ceiling, there is a coil above where it is leaking. I believe this is the A coil (as I have been told). I have already checked the drain, and it is working great. Can anyone please help me with this problem. It is staying cool, but the leaking is driving me crazy. I am not able to find many who will work on these units in the ceiling. So I am gonna try to do it myself...Thanks a bunch....

the 22yo evap pan has bite the dust.HOWEVER,you can have a sheet metal shop make up an auxillary pan to fit underneath it.It will catch the condensate. All you have to do is add a drain line onto the fitting that they solder onto the pan.PDF
