I have a heil outdoor unit and i would like to know how to clean the coils and rid them of dust and other stuff that get pull in the coils by the fan.

to unit.Take a garden hose and gently remove buildup.Once you have removed that move the hose closer,spray harder,do not bend fins on outside.Look straight down to the inside and wash.At this point you can direct the water flow and watch the STUFF being washed out.PDF
