I keep thermostat on a/c @ 86, but I leave fan on all the time and temp goes down to 74 without condensor coming on. Am I doing harm to fan being that it is running so much and am I harming the condensor because it is never being used?

Hello Eleanor and Welcome to the Do It Yourself Web Site.
Some would say yes while others would say no. Here's how I see it.
There is lubricating oil in the lines along with the freon. As the freon moves through the system, while the compressor is running, it is also moving that oil around to lube the internal parts of the system.
Knowing that, you may want to allow the compressor to run more often. Not doing so can or may cause more harm to the compressor and the entire system over the entire life of the unit.
Like with almost everything else mechanical, non use can be as harmful to the equipment as is using it. Often non useage is worse, especially with A/C units. Both those in vehicles and homes.
Just running the fan motor does no harm to the system, except wearout the fan motor sooner.
In summation, if you have it...use it.
