I have a beautiful, healthy Stephanotis plant growing in my kitchen. It gets plenty of light and water. What do I need to fetilize it with so that it will bloom flowers? Does it require a male and female plant?

Hi Karyn,
There isn't much information about this plant out there. Have you called a local nursery to see what they recommend?

Yes, it likely needs feeding if it's in only potting soil or even if ammended with compost to produce flowers.
Flowering demands more energy and alot of sunlight. It may be difficult to get it to bloom indoors. Apply 10-10-10 at a rate recommended on the box/bottle that's adjusted for the pot size.
There's plenty of helpful info out there ...

The Houseplant Expert, by Dr.D.G.Hessayon says that it needs a brightly lit spot, away from direct sun in summer and mist leaves occasionally. I've never grown it, so I can't speak from experience. There seem to many exceptions to the rules when it comes to gardening, indoors and out.
