After blooming and with no new buds, should I cut back my Mexican Primrose (pink)? It's about time, if that is the case. Thanks.

Hi M,

Well gosh, I guess nobody knows. :) I have Missouri Primrose and don't do a thing to it. I'm not familiar with your variety.

It's oenothera beriandieri. I'm sure I didn't hurt it by cutting back the flowering stem. (I got impatient for a reply and went ahead and pruned it.) Hopefully it will cause it to bloom again this season. I just found out that an indoor start that I have is pink Plumeria! Back to the plant dictionary! :)
