looking for ideas from anyone on how to make an enclosure for my garden at the rear of our property's line. has anyone tried a bamboo fence?
we are renters and have already spent a small fortune on our apartment (mostly safety issues). currently, our yard in the only one on the block that does not have a fence of some sort dividing the yard from the alley (or who-ever may be prowling around in it)
securtiy is not as important as conceptually creating a divider. we would like the enclosure to function to keep strangers from walking directly into our yard, but don't need something as serious as a wood fence (nor as expensive).
if anyone has ANY ideas it would be great to hear them.
thanx,
the 2 college kids

Hi College Kids,
I can't think of anything that would be inexpensive. Bamboo wouldn't be very secure, but if it's cheap, you might want to check it out.
Shrubs, etc., would take a long time to grow, so I don't think you have too many options.
