What's the best way to cut ceramic tile? I've got mostly straight trim cuts, but a few are curves (for the commode and next to the tub) and a couple are notches.

I know that wet saws are faster than the score-and-snap type, but do they do a better job? Also, what do you think about the hand saws with carbide blades? Is that my best option for curves or should I get a pair of nibblers and be patient?

Thanks,
Al

Hey Al,

Unless you have about 19 weekends available to complete your project, I would get a wet saw. You can rent one to make all the tricky cuts, or you can buy a cheap (small) one for around a hundred bucks.
