We've moved into a new home and I've got something growing in one of the flower beds. Since I'm not much of a gardner I don't know if it's a weed or not. It reminds me of clover only on a larger scale and grows fast and furious. Long skinny stems with three triangular shaped leaves on each stem. If it's a weed it sure is pretty....but then I used to think dandelions were beautiful!! Any ideas?
Thanks

It could be an Oxalis. Mine grows in clumps and has pretty pink flowers. Worth keeping.

Mine grows in clumps too. Sure hope that's what it is 'cause I've got lots of it.

The definition of a weed is any plant growing where you do not want it.

Great, Twelvepole! I'd like to have whatever I have zillions of for a lawn. It stays green all winter. Some of the prettiest flowers are considered weeds! Who made that rule anyway?

I don't care where the rule came from and the next time my mom or mother-in-law point out...."THAT'S A WEED", I'm going to quote it to them. At least I have something growing in my flower beds.......
