View Full Version : Non Drip Paints

I am having to use non-drip paint to redecorate my front door and garage door, as this is the only type I can find to match the original colour.

I don't like-non drip paint as I find it difficult to apply evenly and to'lay it off' - it becomes 'sticky' too quickly.

Traditional paint which involves using an undercoat and top coat is much easier to use and achieving an even and brush stroke free coat is easier too.

Can you please advise me as to how the best results can be achieved with non-drip paint.

Thin the paint until it is the consistency of ordinary gloss .....undercoat as you normally would.
Techniques on painting doors rather depend on the door type
eg: flush,panelled etc
