Only the top portion of my screened pool enclosure requires replacement. Please advise the "Safe" method for replacing the screen. The structure is anchored aluminum. Would spaning the 3 rib structure with 3/4" plywood provide a sturdy platform from which to work? I weigh 165lbs. What methods do the (ridiculously priced) pros use?

I doubt that the structure was designed to support your 165 lbs. AND the 100 lbs. or so of 3/4" plywood. Rent scaffolding that will span the structure so you can replace the screening without relying on the structure to support you, or call in one of the "ridiculously priced" pros.
