Cedar siding on house was painted several years ago & needs repainting. Will pressure spraying remove much old paint or is the major benefit of pressure spraying to clean the siding prior to painting? THANKS for any assistance!

decadoug, If just pressure washing alone(no bleach or scrubbing) I think it is a better paint remover than anything. Spray the house with bleach or TSP and pressure wash. Any remaining loose can be done by hand with a scraper but it shouldn't be much...Mike
