My house was built in 1959. The interior walls are button board-plaster about 3/4" thick. The previous owner installed brick veneer on two walls from the ceiling down 4 feet. I chipped all the veneer off and what a mess. Very few areas have the top coat remaining. Most of the wall the plaster is removed partially and some areas all the way down to the button board. Of course the bottom 4 ft. look fine. Is this something that is patchable? Or is complete replacement of the wall the way to go? If patching is a possibility, what materials and tools would be best for someone has never done this kind of work before?
Thanks,
Ed
