I have an enclosed patio with screen. However when the sun shines on two sides of it, the sun is so bright I cannot rest there with ease. What can I put up to block the sun but allow air to come thru. I live on a fixed income so it must be something I can do myself.

We had the same problem a few years ago, what I did was bought some green treated latice panels attached them around the patio. And then we planted honeysuckle on it and it has coved the latice beautifully, this not only gives shade with the latice panels but added beauty with the vines. You can use some other vine, but we love the honeysuckle, so do the hummingbirds. Hope this helps.
