We are remodeling and my husband wants to put in a black corner tub. I am not so sure. Does anyone know how it would look using cleaning agents or has anyone seen one ina person's bathroom-How does it look? Please be honest-

Hi, I don't have a black one but have an old avacado one in one of my apartments, it shows all the water spots and soap scum. Black would be even worse. I would suggest to keep fixtures and tile neutral get creative with paint or other wall coverings. Makes it easy to change with the times. I still have that darn avacado tub.

Hi. I have a black tub, sink and toilet in one of my bathrooms and it is awful! I have to clean the soap scum on the tub almost twice a week. And if I don't use that Daily Shower Cleaner stuff after every shower then I am scrubbing scum daily. I clean it so much that the finish is gone from the tub and it is a very dull black now. Black is a bad idea. You'll spend forever cleaning that soap scum. And if you're considering a black vanity or toilet, don't. They show every dust particle. Black is just very bad. Take it from someone who, unfortunately, knows from experience.
