Have an opportunity to buy used 1.5 horse, 4 gal compressor. It puts out 2.7 CFM at 90 psi. Is that enough to drive a framing nailer? Thanks, Nick

Yes, but if you plan on nailing off a roof deck it won't be enough. Can't keep up.
Otherwise it will run a gun to build a wall, do finish work, pick up, etc.

Unless it's virtually free (I mean that) I would skip it. Good, used compressors can be had for reasonable rates if you shop around.
I got my Craftsman from a neighbor (he never used it) for 60 bucks, 4 HP, 18 Gallon model.
Always make sure your compressor's air delivery exceeds the consumption of the tool you are using or it will never keep up!!
