Tools, Sharpening and Power Machinery - z saw

I am trying to find out if anyone has ever heard of anything called a z-saw? Not sure of the spelling! It is supposed to be a type of saw used to cut around a bush or small tree by cutting into the ground and cutting the roots below ground level. My wife said someone mentioned it to her at her work (a customer), but for the life of her cannot remember who it was and I can find nothing about it anywhere? Please help if you know anything. That might be a nickname for it. It's probably known by a trade name or some brand name.
