I have a Sanyo 36 inch only 13 months old. When I tried to turn it on, nothing happens. The only thing that does happen, is that there is a faint humming/buzzing noise from the TV as long as it is plugged into the wall, regardless of whether the power switch is on or off. Please help, thank you!

The symptoms point to a short circuit in the set somewhere. I may be in the power supply or it may be in one of the circuits. The humming sound is associated with the electronic circuit breaker. The fact that it is happening with the set off and plugged in tells me it is in the primary side of the power supply.
Did you have a lightning storm recently? Sounds like you caught a power line surge.
