I am redoing our bathroom in a jungle/safari theme.The bottom half of the walls are carpeted with a brown,tan,cream very low shag carpet.I want to use brown craft paper(like paper bags are made of) to wallpaper the top half.I was thinking of tearinf it into random pieces and using wallpaper paste to adhere it. My real question is should I seal it after with a varnish or what?

I wouldn't varnish it unless you never, ever want to change the look ever again. Just keep the humidity down as much as possible in the bathroom. I've seen this craftpaper application and it is really beautiful.
