I personally prefer to use mayonaisse to remove water marks. Rub real mayonaisse on the water mark, and let it sit overnight. Next day just buff with SOFT dry cloth and mark should be gone.

However, if you search the archives of the Hints, Tips, and Tricks Forum on this site, there are some other ideas also.
