There is a crack on the metal gas-container of my Yard Machine mower right where it connects to the rest of the unit- the mower still works fine but the crack is causing gas to leak out when it's running. Is there any kind of sealant that I can use to repair it that will be able to withstand the heat produced by the mower?
Any suggestions are appreciated...

I think you meant to post this one in the small engine forum instead :).

You can probably use plumber's epoxy or JB weld to make a repair, but I cannot see a new tank being that much money from the maker of the unit, so I would go that route.

Any small engine dealer handling that brand or access to ordering parts for it should be able to help.

Good luck.

Joe,
Thanks a lot- we picked up the JB weld and it's working great- I had looked into getting a new gas container but wasn't having much luck and our lawn was getting out of control so we needed this quick fix- much appreciated!
